RateCalc provides a web-based freelance hourly rate calculator tool. The Service includes:

• •Pro version: Unlimited saved calculations, PDF export, custom templates, and analytics

2. User Obligations

By using RateCalc, you agree to:

• •Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• •Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• •Not use automated tools to abuse or overload the Service
• •Not resell or redistribute the Service without permission

3. Pro License Terms

RateCalc Pro is a one-time purchase that grants you:

• •A perpetual, non-transferable license to use Pro features
• •One license per purchase (not transferable to other users)
• •Lifetime access with no recurring fees
• •We reserve the right to revoke licenses that violate these Terms

4. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Paddle.com. By purchasing RateCalc Pro:

• •You agree to pay the stated price ($2 USD one-time)
• •All sales are final after 24 hours
• •Refunds are available within 24 hours of purchase (see our Refund Policy)
• •Prices may change at any time without notice (existing licenses unaffected)

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The calculations provided by RateCalc are for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial, legal, or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying all calculations and making your own business decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• •We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• •Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service ($2 for Pro users, $0 for free users)
• •We are not responsible for business decisions made based on RateCalc calculations

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of RateCalc (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by RateCalc and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of RateCalc is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We store minimal data and respect your privacy. Saved calculations are stored locally in your browser.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date below. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
